SCOTTBURGH CLASSIC CAR SHOW
The Scottburgh Classic Car Show is for those who wish to recall those magical days when the automobile was not only a means of conveyance but was also considered a piece of art, a status symbol, a fashion statement.
This annual event, organized by the Scottburgh Classic Car Club, will be held on Sunday 1 August from 09h00 at The Country Club, Airth Street, Scottburgh – just off the R102. Entrance for Classic Cars up to 1975 and modern two-seater sports cars is free, but for all other cars R30 for adults and R10 for pensioners and children under 13. The proceeds will be donated to the ILALA Senior Citizens Car Centre of Scottburgh which provides healthcare and subsidized meals to the elderly.
The Country Club offers ample parking, a fine restaurant, a large bar and snacks. Light refreshments will also be provided by the Scottburgh Lions Club on the field - or you can bring your own picnic baskets and chairs.
So come and enjoy the nostalgia of those by-gone glamorous and romantic years when cars were creations of great beauty and style.
